Evie DavyRomano, MS

Evie is a PhD student at East Carolina University in the Medical Family Therapy Program. She received her Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Purdue University Northwest in 2013. Between the completion of her Master's and beginning of her PhD, she transitioned from being a stay-at-home mom, working part-time in a faith-based counseling practice outside of Chicago, Illinois, and then more recently, to working full-time as Therapeutic Support Staff and Admissions Coordinator/Utilization Reviewer at two different eating disorder treatment centers in Atlanta, Georgia. Her personal and professional experiences have led her to seek to better understand the gaps in treatment for families and couples battling eating disorders, specifically, anorexia nervosa. She currently lives with her husband and 
three daughters in Greenville, NC.
