Dr. Greg Cheney, LMFT, LCMHC, AAMFT Approved Supervisor
Dr. Greg Cheney is an active-duty Army Chaplain (Lieutenant Colonel) and serves as the Deputy Director of the Family Life Chaplain Training Program at the Watters Family Life Center for Counseling and Resiliency on Fort Bragg. He is an International Centre of Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT) certified trainer, supervisor, and therapist. Dr. Cheney specializes in training therapists in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) who provide therapy for the military, veteran, and first responder communities. His training is informed by spending years deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan while assigned to Special Forces and airborne infantry units and caring for these combat heroes upon their return.
